Colombo Two by Chauhan Studio

Colombo Two

Broth­ers Tej and Sach Chauhan of Chauhan Stu­dio designed this futur­is­tic phone for Sun­corp Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, fit­tingly named after famed Ital­ian designer Joe Colombo. They state the design seeks to re-establish the lost rela­tion­ship between ear­piece and mouth­piece in mod­ern tele­phones. The flash and html ver­sions of Chauhan Studio’s site state both Spring and August of 2008 respec­tively as the avail­abil­ity date — so I’m unclear about that one. Let’s hope it’s soon.     I’m not sure… How­ever, nowa­days you can get answer­ing ser­vice from your phone svc provider.

    I picked up a Colombo Two from Sel­f­ridges in Birm­ing­ham today, stun­ning piece of design and packed full of fea­tures too. They had stacks of them left, both sin­gle and dou­ble packs, worth a look there if you still can’t find them elsewhere.
