TECAtech Wireless Ear Buds

TECHAtech Wireless Ear Buds

TECAtech is a UK/China based product design company.

From TECAtech:

Working with wireless technology company Kleer, we have helped to develop the worlds first high quality wireless earbuds for MP3 players. The headphones just launched in the US provide better sound quality than Bluetooth but last three times longer due to lower power consumption. The headphones use a duel aerial system to eliminate the drop out problem common with Bluetooth headsets for phones. To allow a first-to-market entry level product the final design used a cable to connect the two ear phones together – this greatly reduced cost as only one IC and battery was needed.

Something so good HAS to have a down side. So what is it? Extremely expensive? Because some of the other wireless earbuds cost around 500 bucks! Or do they have weak batteries? Nothing is perfect

The only wireless ear bud system currently using “KLEER” technology is the Sennheiser MX W1, which whilst pretty good does have a few flaws, most notably being negatively effected by motion sensing devices(automatic doors) in grocery stores and motion sensing devices in home alarm systems. I found out much to my chagrin they caused the Sennheiser MX W1s to cut in and out as those systems interfered with the signal. I originally purchased this to run with and I’m quite disappointed in this apparent oversight by Sennheiser or KLEER engineers.
